We love February. Once again we anticipate and look forward to introducing the very hot love story explained in the Song of Songs. Yes, that is a book in the Bible and yes it is scriptural to enjoy your marriage with sensual, physical love.
It is always a treat for us on the first night of the five week series. We have 30 couples registered this year and last night was quite a night.
Couples enter the class very tentatively with expressions of fear, embarrassment, bewilderment, excitement. Couples we know, couples we don't. Couples who have been married a few short months and couples who have been married many happy years. Couples with kids and couples without. But everyone one who comes to this class, either dragged or willingly, will find that the God we worship wants us to be pleasured by our spouse in an intimate explosion of physical love.
People are shocked and perhaps disturbed by what we share. It is unbelievable to some that our Bible contains such descriptive language about sex. As the class continues, couples begin to loosen up and discover that the Bible is the best sex manual that was ever written.
So if you are in our class, do your homework. If you are not, you don't know what you're missing.
