CRAD

We have no children in CRAD, the Creative Recording Arts Department at Huntington Beach High School, but we so enjoy going to the concerts. The family went this afternoon and was treated to some music that we hadn't heard in years. As a matter of fact, for Scott and I, it brought back fond memories of our high school days. Dragging, dances, stomps and running around with the my girl posse to name a few. Dirt digging, dances, garage band and hanging with the boys were memories for Scott that bubbled to the surface.

These kids are amazingly talented and the technical side of the performance is top notch as well. We know some of the performers and are extremely fortunate that they attend FCCHB and are also involved in our worship, youth and music programs.

Just wanted to give a shout out to all you guys and let you know that a girl always has a soft spot in her heart for a musician who can play, sing and dazzle her with lyrics. I'm just saying . . .

Keep the arts alive! Long live rock 'n' roll! Retrofest 2010 was awesome!
