SHOE

Yesterday proved to be more of a challenge than expected.

Habits are hard to break and I got caught several times flipping a light switch. I did enjoy not doing laundry, not running the dishwasher, not watching TV or videos and in general just "not doing much." The family rose to the occasion.

We went to the Torres' for a bbq and still tried not to use power. I had to remind several Roderick's not to turn the light on when they went to the restroom. And, oh my, this was hard, several besties got on Pinterest and took all I had not to help them out. Whew. All in all we still maintained our commitment to the cause. Everyone was in bed at sundown. A first for us in a very long time.

Addison did break down late in the evening. She had to get on the laptop to complete some fashion homework.

Today is going to be much easier I think. Maybe not. The girls are all ready lamenting the fact they can't do they're daily workout. Especially their run.

Update on today tomorrow.

"How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion "your God reigns!" Isaiah 52:7
